Our Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry is a time for children to enjoy their time with God and friends.  Each Sunday we teach children to relate to Jesus, create for Jesus, and how to emulate Jesus in their lives.

Jo Anna Guthrie heads up the Nursery and Tots Ministry area located in the classrooms right next to the sanctuary.  Their love and devotion for our little ones shows in all the special ways they encourage them as they learn about Jesus through songs, bible stories, pictures, and more.

All our teachers and workers are screened to ensure a safe a safe, secure place for our children and peace of mind for us as parents.

Nursery: Jesus Loves Me

This month we will help your child enjoy activities in which teachers talk lovingly of Jesus.

Sand Play

Sandboxes aren't just for the summer.  Children loves to pour and manipulate all kinds of materials.  Make a small indoor sandbox using a small plastic container, plastic tub or baby bath.  Supply strainers, funnels, plastic containers and shovels.  Instead of sand you may want to use puffed rice or other cereal so your child can safely eat the "sand".

"You can talk to God about your children.  You can tell Him everything, ask Him anything.  You can even laugh with Him about the funnier things.  I believe He understands laughter; for He is the One who made your child funny in the first place."  Ethel Barrett
