Worship Notes

Hebrew 13:15-16 says, "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise the fruit of lips that confess His name.  And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."  Worship is our response to a great and mighty God, and we offer our worship to God through His son, Jesus.  Jesus sacrificed His life to secure our salvation and to give us the incredible privilege of coming into God's presence in worship.  Scripture tells us that we are to continually offer to God, through Jesus, a sacrifice of praise.  In other words, our lives are to be a continual act of worship towards our Creator.  If we desire to love God and others, and to serve God and others, worship must be the foundation of our lives.  For it is out of our worship that love and service flows to God and others.   As we journey together in this life of worship, may you be inspired to worship God continually, may you be filled with His grace and love, and may people see Jesus in you!
